What to Expect at Asbury

  • 10am Worship

Our Worship Service provides an environment of worship that is rich in variety. We believe there are infinite ways of worshiping God! We are excited to worship Him in as many ways as we can. From a vibrantly traditional style to a taste of contemporary worship.

We sing our all-time favorite hymns and learn new songs to worship the Lord. The congregation joins in the Apostles' Creed, and the Lord’s Prayer is a strong pillar of our weekly Service. We celebrate the church seasons and continually dig deeper into what it means to be God's people.

On Sunday mornings, you will find people wearing suits and ties and others in jeans and boots. Wiggles are welcome in worship as children participate and begin to develop their faith. We also have childcare available during most events.

  • 11am Connection Groups

Our Connection groups are the perfect place where you can meet God and find new friends. We believe there is a group for you! Our goal with these groups is to provide a place where people can “Believe, Belong, and Be Useful.” Do you have questions about God, religion, theology, or denomination? This is a safe place to ask. Are you looking to make deep friendships? Belonging is a gift that is found here! Are you excited about serving the community with your talents? We are always excited for extra hands!

For more information about our Connection Groups, contact Monica Tepas or call 432-366-4455.

  • Membership

Although membership is not required to be a part of our church community, by being a member, it indicates that you have made a commitment to not only supporting the ministry of Asbury but to your own spiritual growth and development. There are three different avenues in which to join Asbury:

By transfer from another Methodist Church; By transfer from another Christian denomination; By profession of faith and baptism.

For more information, contact the church office or our Pastor, Rev. Raul Garcia.
