Choose to Complain or Rejoice
One thing I have noticed over the years is that people like to complain. We like to complain about the weather, our government, schools, other drivers, or even our church. The list could go on and on.
Yet the bible tells us to live differently. In fact, Philippians 4:4-7 says: “Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
I have learned that complaining increases our bitterness and unhappiness. However, when we learn to rejoice in all things and to give our troubles to God, it changes our outlook and fills our hearts with joy. Therefore, I encourage you rejoice in the lord always!
